COURAGEOUS Announces New Bassist, Seeks New Label Home
March 20, 2008Frankfurt, Germany-based metal band COURAGEOUS has announced the addition of bassist Thomas Neitsch (DESILENCE) to the group's ranks. A native of Berlin, Germany, Thomas made his live debut with COURAGEOUS at the "Tribute To Elvis" concert this past Christmas at Batschkapp in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.
Commented vocalist Chris Staubach: "Thomas is a very nice person and his playing is really awesome. Though it was very hard for us to replace Jrgen [Wieland], Thomas brought back some lost energy. We have a lot of fun together and there's no doubt he's one of the best bass player I've ever met. For us it was the best decision we could make. Now we are complete at last and the machine is still rolling!"
COURAGEOUS' last album, "Downfall of Honesty", was released in 2006 via Mausoleum Records. The group has since parted ways with the company and is currently seeking a new label home.
"Downfall of Honesty" was recorded at Black Solaris studios in Frankfurt, and was produced by Uwe Lulis and COURAGEOUS.
